1st John 2:11 “But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.”
Our love for others is has great advantages for us, it delights God. When we permit hatred, we permit blindness, which results in fruitlessnes.
Every journey without a direction is a mere wander. You can only be fruitful when your efforts are targeted towards meaningful achievements; a life void of love for others is, according to today’s text, in darkness. Love God, love others.
Talk to God: Father, rid me of every seed of hatred in Jesus’ name, amen.
