John 15:6 “If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.”
Christ laid emphasis on the importance of abiding in Him because it is the only way we can draw from Him as the source. We can further note, that the end of those who refuse to abide in Him is eternal death, they wither and would waste a lifetime.
Abiding in Christ is an advantage for everyone of His children. He calls you to a greater heritage, a life without limitations. If you want to bear fruit, they you must draw life from the one true Source, this only occurs when you abide in Him.
Talk to God: Father, teach me to abide in Christ Jesus as I desire to be fruitful in Jesus’ name, amen.
