Psalms 62:6 “He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved”.
How shall a believer be made secure never to fall? It is only by resting on the One who cannot be moved. In today’s text, the psalmist calls God his rock, that is an immovable support, and also, salvation, meaning the core of saving grace comes only from Him.
Beloved, it takes an intimate relationship with God to remain in Him, a life established on His foundation has an assurance of remaining, as He is, forever more. Would you not rather stand on Him?
