Topic: Secrets of Refuge
Luke 9:10 “And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.”
A refuge is a place termed ‘safe and secured’. In our opening text we saw how the disciplines returned back to Jesus to a secret place after obeying the call of the gospel. They did not have the mind of self fulfilment as many do today, giving the glory to themselves.
You can not neglect the place of refuge and not get attacked. Who do you return the glory to after ministering awesomely? When faced with challenges of life, who you run to tells who your refuge is.
Talk to God : Father, I cling unto you as my refuge forever in Jesus’ name.
