Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
After man fell, the purpose of God for him seemed totally defeated, but in His infinite mercies, God provided a solution, of His own self, a free gift – salvation through Christ Jesus.
Christ was sacrificed so that salvation could be free for all who wish to be saved, but it is not a gift to be taken for granted. If you are saved, you are saved.
Talk to God: Father, thank you for the free gift of salvation, help me never to take it for granted in Jesus name, amen.
