Romans 6:4 “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
Our renewal follows the order of the death and resurrection of Christ, just as a seed of grains falls to the earth, dies and is raised up anew (John 12:24). Renewal implies that we are dead to the shame of sin and alive to His glory.
If you have been baptised into Christ’s death and raise to life again with Him, His newness should now reflect in the life you live. Are you alive to newness?
