Jeremiah 20:9 “Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay”.
The word of God is powerful, and quick, sharper than two edged sword (Heb 4:12). We could recognise God’s voice with the way His word convicts us. Those who are know it understand that the word comes with power to change things.
Sometimes, the word comes with urgency, and if you are one close to His heart, it could be like fire in your bones. God can speak in diverse ways, it takes a receptive heart to discern.
Talk to God: Father, each time your word comes to me, help me be sensitive in Jesus name, amen.
