2 Peter 1:5 “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;”
Diligence, virtue and knowledge, these three qualities are the first we need to add to faith in pursuing fruitfulness. In applying these principles, we show a yielding heart to God’s Word.
Are you diligent? How about your virtues and how knowledgeable are you? God does not want you to be ignorant, however, knowing but not doing what is right is worse than not knowing it at all. Practise the Word with understanding.
Talk to God: Father, increase me in diligence, virtue and knowledge in Jesus’ name, amen.
