Topic: Purpose according to Election
Romans 9:11 “(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)”
There is no way to speak of purpose and eliminate election. God foreknew each man He chooses to fulfil His divine purpose, and they were elected, even before the beginning of time to be vessels for purpose.
Unlike election among men following after the preference of the majority, the election according to purpose is only dependent on God, as to whom He chooses for what He chooses. You in like manner were elected into His purpose, not by human qualifications but His divine election. Be mindful to live accordingly.
Talk to God: Father, thank you for the election through grace, may I never fall off the rail of grace in Jesus’ name, amen.
