Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”
Sin is a barrier to every interaction between God and His children. When it comes in, the sinner simply steps out of the umbrella of God’s family and so starts loosing the privileges until he becomes a complete stranger.
While some still debate the need for prayer of forgiveness, it is an important part of prayer that you should not neglect. As you work with God toward your perfection in Him, remember to always ask Him to forgive your sins so He may hear when you call.
Talk to God: Father, forgive my sins and make my prayers acceptable in your sight in Jesus’ name, amen.
