Matthew 6:12 “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”
When we get hurt through others who grieve our souls, forgiveness becomes a tough task, but the Bible still teaches us to forgive. This opening text implies, that as we pray for forgiveness, we too must learn to forgive others.
Forgiveness is what you do for yourself not for others, it is a virtue every believer should possess. What unforgiveness does is worsen your case with bitterness and closed heavens. Let go of all bitterness, you deserve to be happy. Forgive and help yourself!
Talk to God: Father, uproot every seed of unforgiveness in me in Jesus’ name, amen.
