Topic: Praying for Breakthrough
James 5:13 “Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.”
God’s plan is for everyone of His children to live in good health and prosperity, not afflictions and suffering. Times of trials may come but should not always remain. Hence, when the adversary, the devil tries to lock us down in unpleasant situations, we have the lifeline of breakthrough prayers, it means calling to God for deliverance.
David as an example in the bible had many times when he was afflicted, he always took that lifeline, and so can you. The devil never comes to any child of God with a good intention, instead, there are plans of agony, distress and ultimately, death. Thank God for the privilege to call on Him, you can by His power have breakthrough in all!
Talk to God: Father, I break free from every power of affliction by your power in Jesus’ name, amen.
