I Chronicles 4:9 “And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.”
Praying for breakthrough involves several steps and the first of all is a realization that there is a need for breakthrough. Before Jabez cried upon God, the bible shows that He was named in an unfortunate situation.
Look around you, if the condition you currently find yourself is not what God wants for you, you know you need a breakthrough. Call on God!
Talk to God: Father, please put an end to every unfortunate situation holding me captive in Jesus name, amen.
