Topic: Praying by the Spirit 3
Ephesians 6:18 “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”
We have learnt how all we do, including prayers should be done by the leading of the Spirit. Today am emphasis is laid on how we must do this always. While many do not pray by the leading at all, some do only when they feel it is necessary.
As your allegiance to Christ is a done daily, so should praying by the Spirit be. This does not necessarily mean praying in tongues, it means praying not just based on emotions or your wants but what the Spirit leads you to pray for. The Spirit knows the mind of God, how often do you pray by Him?
Talk to God: Father, thank you for your Spirit sent to lead me. Please help me yield to Him always in Jesus’ name, amen.
