Psalms 92:1 “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:”
Psalm 92 is a song for the Sabbath and the psalmist began by expressing the goodness of praise, in the latter verses we see him giving reasons why praise is important: It brings about triumph, magnifying the deeds of God (Verse 4).
If you can praise God without ceasing, it becomes very easy to focus on Him and His deeds rather than your challenges, then you begin to appreciate and love Him the more. You would then ever desire His presence: The Lord would delight in you.
Talk to God: Father, help me to understand the benefits of praising you that I may praise the more in Jesus name, amen.
