I Kings 19:11 “And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord . And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord ; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake:”
God is intentional about the people He speaks to because He knows they are committed to listening to, and obeying His voice.
In today’s text, Elijah’s resolve to hear God was tested as he waited. Hearing from God could require patience, how determined are you?
Talk to God: Father, help me to learn to wait on you in Jesus name, amen.
