Deuteronomy 17:16 “But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.”
Remaining in God’s specified location puts us in a good position for promotion. There are certain journeys that spell backwardness and God is only delighted in our progress.
God warned the Israelites never to return to the land of their captivity, disobeying Him could work against the divine rest He planned for them. Be still and trust God for direction.
Talk to God: Father, help me to remain rightly positioned for divine rest in Jesus name, amen.
