Romans 6:18 “Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.”
Christ’s blood set us free from the slavery of sin, but does not indicate that we should be carefree. Another price for newness is being a servant of righteousness.
This implies that you should never think, act or speak in a manner of unrighteousness. A servant of righteousness will in every way seek to please God, are you one?
Talk to God: Father, help me to truly be a servant of righteousness in Jesus name, amen.
