Romans 6:2 “God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?”
Another important characteristic a saved person exhibits is that he no longer lives as he used to, a new life kicks in, the old being dies away.
The death of Christ is a significance of what happens when you get saved, you are baptised into His death, thereby dead to sin, and made alive to righteousness. Therefore as you are no longer alive to the slavery of sin, sin becomes unpalatable to you. Do you still have an urge for sins? Let God work on you.
Talk to God: Father, destroy in me every urge for sin in Jesus name, amen.
