Matthew 26:39 “And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.”
Another appropriate definition of Obedience is to describe it as a submission of one’s will to a higher authority when you have the chance to do otherwise.
Jesus displayed complete obedience to God in sacrificing His life for the salvation of the world. He let go of His will and also His life, can you submit your will for the Father’s?
Talk to God: Father, let my will be lost in yours in Jesus name, amen.
