Genesis 19:1 “And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;”
Why did God at the time of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah spare Lot and his household? Perhaps it was because of what today’s text reveals, his heart of hospitality.
Read verse 16, even while he hesitated to leave the land, God’s angel hastened Him, receiving a divine revelation could come from just one right deed, do not be weary in doing good.
Talk to God: Father, give me a heart that does good always in Jesus name, amen.
