Colossians 3:2 “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”
Our minds can easily be occupied with so many things, but above all, God wants us to focus on the eternal than the temporal. A mind set upon God’s kingdom is fixed on a sure inheritance, which supersedes every other kind of treasures.
Today’s text admonishes to set your affections on things above, this means that you should make God’s kingdom something you love and long for. Without such hunger for it, it might be difficult to attain.
Talk to God: Father, help me to always hunger for your Kingdom in Jesus name, amen.
