Exodus 31:13 “Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you”.
Jehovah Mekoddishkem means the Lord who sanctifies. No one can claim to be Holy unless God sanctifies him. Our righteousness is found in Christ and we can only stand upright when He upholds us.
Sanctification occurs in a man when he becomes like Christ, you are separated from sinful desires and made to conform to His will. Ask Him to sanctify you.
