Introduction to Month of ‘Divine Rest’
Genesis 2:2 “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.”
A blessed new month to you. Rest is very important to everyone, especially those who labour. The first being recorded to have rested in the Bible was God. Even though He is never tired, He laid this principle down for man.
Divine rest is a special privilege to be able to achieve even things tagged difficult with ease, and to be shielded from the struggles of life. It is prepared for God’s children. As you journey with God this month and beyond, He will not only open your eyes to but will grant you divine rest.
