Exodus 33:19b “…and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.”
Mercy can be described in so many contexts, however, with focus on the Creator, mercy is His divine nature with which He relates with His creation, forbearing and tolerating them.
The world would cease to exist without God’s merciful nature. His mercy reflects in everything He does, He even remembers to show mercy in His anger. Reflect on how God has shown you mercy and thank Him.
Talk to God: Father, thank you for your mercy by which you preserve me, amen.
