Topic: His Cross
Matthew 16:24 “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me”.
The Cross of Christ signifies His suffering, His passion but also His work of salvation completed through the ultimate sacrifice of His life.
When you decide to follow Christ, you can be sure there is a cross for you to carry. Christ carried His and if you want to be like Him, the cross is a bond you must share. There is a fellowship of His sufferings (Phil 3:10).
Talk to God: Father, teach me to carry my cross and follow you in Jesus name, amen.
