Isaiah 61:1 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;”
Read Luke 4:18, Christ read the above text aloud, stating His purpose on earth. He had the understanding of His anointing and appointment according to God’s Word, this says a lot about His culture.
Every man who would fulfill God’s purpose must be given to His Word. Christ went on in this strength throughout His ministry on earth. He built on the Word, you should, too.
Talk to God: Father, help me to build my life on your Word in Jesus’ name, amen.
