Romans 5:17 “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)”
In today’s text, salvation is called ‘the gift of righteousness’. This reveals that after one receives this free gift, he must also strive to live righteous.
God cannot call anyone out of darkness to remain therein, salvation is a gift to be guarded jealously. Hold on to it.
