Topic: Forgiveness in His Name
II Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
After Christ won the victory over sin and death, His name became the only way to victory over these. However, when we stray from that saving grace, the name is given to redeem us back into His love.
While this is not a license to unholy living, one needs to also understand the need to remain in God’s love and abstain from sin, but you can ask for forgiveness in Jesus name and it will be granted.
Talk to God: Father, forgive me my sins and help me to live in righteousness in Jesus name, amen.
