Genesis 17:1 “And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.”

God had appeared to Abram before the instance presented in this opening text, despite the previous encounter, something was still missing, a blameless life. This is the same case with many Christians today.

Beloved, your previous encounter(s) with God would matter less if you cannot still walk upright with Him. An upright life cannot be superficial. Allow God work out perfection in you.

Talk to God: Father I come to you just as I am, make me like you in Jesus name, amen.
