Topic: Fellowshipping in the Light
1 John 1:7 “ˋBut if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin”.
The church is a clinic, a place of healing for the brokenhearted, the desolate, the ill and those seeking salvation; however, it has an anchor with which all who seek after God must fellowship, His light. The light is what binds every worshipper as one such that we may see God in our worship.
The light of God could therefore, in this context, be perceived as His Spirit, the One which brings everything in obedience to Him. Your worship is only validated when it is done in the Spirit (John 4:24) and nothing short of this would be acceptable unto Him. As you fellowship with the brethren, ensure you do so in Spirit and in truth so that the light of God may shine upon you in so doing.
Talk to God: Father, help me to always worship you in Spirit and in truth in Jesus’ name, amen.
