I Samuel 17:49 ‘And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David’.
As Christians we must know we cannot do exploits without faith. The fear in us keeps us captives until we realize who we are. When the life Christ Jesus gave us is not manifested, the Goliaths in our lives will see themselves as champions.
Beloved, David did not regard Goliath’s stature and succumb to fear. He saw the life in the power of faith. He was victorious at last. You can also be victorious like David, live by faith!
Talk to God: Father, open my eyes to see beyond the physical in Jesus name.
