Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
The story of Abraham and the way he received an everlasting covenant, through which every generation of the world became blessed, is not a strange one (read further till verse 15). Faith and patience work together, for everyone willing to receive from God.
Beloved, having faith is not complete without patience. It is with patience you can prove to God you are fully persuaded that He is able and willing to do that which He promised. When you wait in faith, wait patiently!
Talk to God: Father, teach me patience even as I look to you in faith in Jesus name, amen.
