James 2:26 “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”
Faith is that by which we ascertain God’s ability to make everything perfect, according to His will. So also is prayer an application of faith. Every prayer borne of faith goes to God with an expectation, an assurance He can do all we ask of Him.
Prayer without faith, is like a train without an engine. When you pray, you put your faith to work, and this part of work is what today’s opening text is particular about. Be expressive in prayer, and expectant when you do. God never fails.
Talk to God: Father, help my faith, let me look up to you for everything in Jesus’ name, amen.
