Luke 1:38 “And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.”
There is power in the Word of God, the testimonies we hear, see, and experience are all a subset of the Word working and confirmed by signs. However, experiencing the power of the Word is our right, not just to be stumbled upon, it should be a daily bread.
How do you engage the Word? Refer to the opening text, Mary heard all that was declared, just as you read in God’s Word too, and what she did was to surrender herself to the Word. This is the first step when you receive the Word, accept it and let it be according to what God has said.
Talk to God: Father, help me to always surrender to the working of your Word in Jesus name, amen.
