Topic: Does Prayer Work?
James 5:16 “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
In today’s text, we are admonished to pray for one another with the assurance that prayer works. But oftentimes, believers may complain to have prayed without results, bringing about the question whether prayer works. We know that the world was formed by the word of God, and that it is nothing but the truth. As the word of God declares, therefore, truly, prayer works.
Beloved, if your prayers seem not to be yielding results, it could be due to many reasons, but the truth remains, that as surely as praying is a way of communicating with God, He listens when you pray; and if there is One who listens, then you should not stop praying, prayer works.
Talk to God: Father, rekindle my faith in you as I pray in Jesus name, amen.
