Genesis 13:14 “And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:”
When God called unto Abraham to go out of his father’s house, the instruction was to him, but Lot joined in this journey of covenant (Gen 12:4) and someway became a burden.
As seen in today’s text and its succeeding verse, it was until Lot departed before God began to show Abraham what his possession would be. Do not allow anyone whom God did not plan into your journey mar it for you, dislodged weights.
Talk to God: Father, please separate from me any weight that slow down my journey of covenant in Jesus name, amen.
