Hebrews 4:9 “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.”
‘Rest’ could mean different things, relief, peace, inactivity among others and it exists in different dimensions. Divine rest however, is God specific and cannot be defined without bringing Him into the picture.
Today’s text emphasizes that rest is preserved for God’s people, those who are called by His name and truly belong to Him. Are you one of God’s people?
