John 16:15 “All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you”.
The Bible calls us joint heirs with Jesus (Romans 8:17). The heir inherits what the father owns, and since heaven and earth belongs to God, and we can inherit it being joint heirs with Christ.
Seeing therefore, that the world and everything therein will pass, you should rather desire that which lasts forever. Are you desiring eternity?
Talk to God: Father, help me to set my desire on the heavenly inheritance in Jesus name, amen.
