Genesis 23:16 “And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant.”
Abraham was on a journey of covenant, God had taken him through thick and thin to get him to that point. However, being in covenant with God did not mean that he nothing to do with fellow men.
God created you to co-exist with other people and as such they might form an important part of your living. Let your covenant with God guide your interaction with others, God loves everyone equally.
