Matthew 1:21 “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”
Christ is the express image and light of God, His coming into the world was to deliver it from the bondage of darkness, sin. Once we accept Him into our lives darkness no longer has a foothold, until one has dominion over sin, the name Jesus is yet to fully answer to its meaning in their life.
You need to come to the point where the light of Christ takes complete charge in your life and darkness no longer has a place, but this follows a constant process of being exposed to this light. Make every effort to get used to the light and neglect the darkness of sin. Mortify your earthly members.
Talk to God: Father, help me to constantly walk in your light in Jesus name, amen.
