Luke 9:49-50 “And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him… And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not:”
For any sinner to receive salvation, they must first come in contact with the name of Jesus. The occurrence in today’s text shows that God wants everyone, irrespective of who they are or have been come to His light.
There is no restriction against anyone calling on the name, as a matter of fact, they name breaks protocols. Rather than stop anyone from calling, do as Philip in Acts 8:26-28.
Talk to God: Father, help me to encourage others who desire to know you in Jesus name, amen.
