Genesis 15:17 “And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.”
We proceed further to consider how brokenness relates to sacrificial living. This opening text records how God’s furnace passed through pieces of sacrifice divided (broken) in offering (verse 10).
There is no sacrificial living that does not involve brokenness and you cannot expect His furnace to pass though unbroken pieces, be prepared for His fire.
Talk to God: Father, let my life be prepared for your furnace by brokenness in Jesus’ name, amen.
