Mark 6:14 “And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.”
Children of God are called by His name and are called to broadcast His name to people around them, in their words and actions.
In today’s text, because Christ’s name was broadcast, King Herod heard of Him and marveled. Even so will the kingdom of darkness tremble all around you when you broadcast His name. Be instant in season and out of season.
Talk to God: Father, give me grace to make you known to people in Jesus name, amen.
