Topic: Becoming like Him
I John 4:17 “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world”.
We may only continue to learn more about the edifying traits and lifestyle Christ led, they are truly inexhaustible. What is more important is that we emulate them and progressively become more like Him.
Looking at today’s text, the Bible calls believers people who are as He is. Actualizing what is written begins from believing it. Do you accept in your heart that you are like Jesus, or do you still see yourself a sinner who is far from salvation? Let your Spirit bear you witness.
Talk to God: Father, from today, let the truth of Christ-likeness manifest in me in Jesus’ name, amen.
