Topic: As Clay to the Potter
Isaiah 64:8 “But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.”
Another precise illustration of man and God in purpose is that of a lump of clay to the potter. As the former is without will or wit, the latter reserves all the right to do as he pleases with it.
Your purpose is divinely scripted and designed by God, it is not yours to choose. A greater understanding of this fact would bring you to realise that He has the manual to its execution and completion. Who would you rather lean on?
Talk to God: Father, I release myself to your purpose as I depend on you for strength for completion in Jesus’ name, amen.
