Topic: Anointed of God
Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him”.
We saw yesterday how God anointed Christ with the oil of gladness, because of His love for righteousness. Today’s text goes further to point out what exploits He did with His anointing, He started fulfilling His purpose (as seen in Isaiah 61 from verse 1).
God does not waste His investment, the Creator of the universe puts everything in place for a specific reason. Hence, if you are anointed by Him, go ahead and work according to purpose, a life without direction towards purpose will soon run dry of anointing, be like Jesus!
Talk to God: Father, help me to put your anointing and every gift you give me to the right use in Jesus’ name, amen.
