1 Corinthians 7:22 ‘For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant’.
The adoption through Christ Jesus brings everyone called into the family of God, in the unity of faith and equity through His communion. There is neither regard for wealth or position, nor segregation due to poverty or lowliness. The Church was built on equity, a family where no son is more important than the other.
Who you were before adopted should not affect whom the adoption makes you to be, you are God’s special possession, He bought you from slavery. Agree with Him to live no longer as a slave to sin, be liberated by faith in His Word!
Talk to God: Father, help me to totally shun slavery and its effect in Jesus name, amen.
