Exodus 23:12 “Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.”
We often pray for a time of refreshing before God, it follows a time allowed for rest. As it is in the physical it exists in the spiritual. God gives His people rest, that a time of refreshing may come.
As you trust God to refresh your spirit man and restore your soul like the psalmist wrote in Ps. 23:3, know that His divine rest precedes these.
Talk to God: Father, as you work in me, help me to remain calm in Jesus name, amen.
