Genesis 18:10 “And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.”
After Abraham had received the covenant and had obeyed God’s word, there were still tests that followed. His hospitality first showed how dedicated he was to God, that became a contact point for Isaac’s birth.
Why some people receive the covenant but still find it difficult to see it manifest is that they ignore a continuous practice of walking with God. It is not enough to receive the covenant, but to also remain in obedience to God’s word.
Talk to God: Father, help me to never relent in walking with you in Jesus name, amen.
